Maplewood is now home to another example of transit-oriented development (TOD) with the opening of the Sunnen Station Apartment Complex. The second phase of the Sunnen Station Apartment complex was recently completed adjacent to the Sunnen MetroLink Station. The $30 million multi-family development completed by Holland Construction Services, features 121 units with indoor-outdoor recreational facilities and direct access to the MetroLink system. Phase 1 of the project completed in 2017 is fully leased.
News of the completion of the Sunnen Station Apartment Complex comes on the heels of the completion of the Expo at Forest Park, another TOD project next to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station in the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood.
