Welcome aboard to CMT’s new Program Assistant

headshotsparksCitizens for Modern Transit has hired Erika Sparks as the new Program Assistant for the organization. Ms. Sparks will be on board full-time June 2, 2016.

Ms. Sparks is a graduate of Harris-Stowe State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and is currently pursuing her Masters degree at Webster University.    She has previously worked for a Missouri House of Representatives member and Metro Transit.   She has experience on  community organizing, community engagement and customer service.

“We are excited to welcome Erika officially to the CMT team. We think she will be a great asset to the organization and help CMT move St. Louis to the next level with regards to a good public transportation system.  Erika has excellent communication skills and is able to work with a diverse group of constituents. We welcome her to the CMT team,” said Kim Cella, CMT Executive Director.

Citizens for Modern Transit is a not-for-profit organization in St. Louis whose mission is to expand the light rail system in order to build more sustainable, accessible communities in the region.
