URS Hiring Transportation Civil Engineer

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline. Minimum five years of experience in transportation and site design including drainage, water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and signing. Must have Professional Engineer License. Knowledge of Illinois Department of Transportation and Missouri Department of Transportation and local municipal specifications and design criteria. Ability to utilize: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, HydroCAD, HydraCAD, Hydraflow and SignCAD. Ability to complete Traffic Impact Studies and other Engineering Reports.

Job Description:
This position will be responsible for working with project managers and clients from the inception of a project through the completion. This candidate shall be able to complete engineering studies, reports, site design, roadway design, and all tasks required to put together a complete bid package. This candidate shall have CAD skills to provide direction to CAD technicians or complete the drafting on his/her own for a project. The successful candidate will also prepare bid specifications, cost estimates and contracts for civil engineering projects.
