Citizens for Modern Transit (CMT), in partnership with Metro Transit and St. Clair County Transit District, is promoting how easy it is to utilize the region’s safe, reliable and robust public transportation system to access hundreds of St. Louis’ hottest attractions this summer through its Board, Explore & Win campaign. The first of several weekly drawings for prize packs, each highlighting a specific area along the transit system was held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
The prize pack included gift cards to local restaurants including Pi Pizza and Salt and Smoke off of Delmar, an area easily accessed by the Delmar MetroLink Station. The first week’s winner is Shannon Villa, an avid rider and someone passionate about public transportation. He uses MetroLink and MetroBus to explore the region.
