Scholarships from Women’s Transportation Seminar

Women’s Transportation Seminar – St. Louis Metropolitan Chapter has 3 – Scholarships available to Graduates and Undergraduates pursuing their degrees in a Transportation related field – APPLICATIONS DUE BY JANUARY 20, 2012

These Scholarships are:

• Open to women,

• GPA of 3.0 or higher,

• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in a transportation related field, such as transportation engineering, planning, finance or logistics,

• Plans to pursue a career in a transportation related field.

The Molitoris Leadership Scholarship:
Awarded to women pursuing undergraduate studies in transportation or a related field that demonstrate leadership skills, ability, and interest.

Leadership Legacy Scholarship:
Through this award, WTS provides $3,000 to an outstanding young woman pursuing graduate studies towards a career in transportation or a related field, and who demonstrates a specific interest in advancing transportation innovation in the international arena.

The Helene M. Overly Memorial Scholarship:
Established in 1981 by the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) to encourage women to pursue career paths in transportation. The scholarship is awarded to women pursuing graduate studies in transportation or a related field.
