Effort is Part of a Campaign with St. Louis’ own professional wide receiver Darrius Shepherd
Citizens for Modern Transit and St. Clair County Transit District have teamed up with St. Louis’ own professional wide receiver Darrius Shepherd for a public awareness campaign to reinforce that public transit is the “winning way” to get to game day and is also a “touchdown” for the work and school commutes. As part of this effort – taking place throughout the Battlehawks season – partnering organizations will be at select Metro Transit locations in advance of the home football game on April 20 handing out mini footballs and information about CMT’s Free Try & Ride Program. This program provides a free monthly pass, route information and more to those who are new to the transit system and are interested in taking MetroBus or MetroLink to get to and from work or school.
WHEN: Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
