On The Way With ADA

A new pilot program is launching June 21st on Metro Transit. The “On The Way With ADA” pilot program is available for paratransit riders, allowing qualified riders to access MetroLink and MetroBus for free from June 21 through December 17, 2021.

Eligible riders, once approved through Metro, will receive a preloaded ADA Paratransit Gateway Card. Anyone who believes they may qualify is encouraged to contact Metro ADA Services at  314-982-1510 or ADAServices@metrostlouis.org.

An ongoing part of Metro’s ADA Service is the Travel Training Program, which can help individuals gain more independence and increased access to community activities. Metro offers travel training free to individuals with disabilities who want to use MetroLink and MetroBus. The training helps individuals become more comfortable and familiar with the transit system prior to using the bus or train.

With the launch of the new pilot program, Call-A-Ride fares will be resuming. The new program will not apply to Call-A-Ride.
