Reconnecting America has released a presentation entitled, “Midsize Cities on the Move,” in which projects concerning Rapid Bus, Bus Rapid Transit, and Streetcar projects happening in the coming years in the U.S. are looked at in greater detail. The presentation starts by identifying what exactly defines a “midsize city,” lends to the planning and implementation of transit projects across the country, and finally highlights some of the outcomes of completed projects.
This is a wonderful resource to look at what other cities are working on and accomplishing, and as a result, provide momentum for our region to take the next steps with respect to public transit.
