Metro Transit Officials Address Adjustments to MetroBus Routes, Effective June 12

On the heels of Metro Transit announcing schedule and routing adjustments to 41 MetroBus routes in Missouri and Illinois as part of its quarterly service change, Citizens for Modern Transit hosted a “Candid Online Conversation” with Metro Transit officials discussing what riders should expect with these adjustments. This free, public event – held via Zoom – enabled Metro Transit representatives to provide an overview of the changes that go into effect Monday, June 12, and address the dozens of questions received from transit riders and the community at large through CMT’s social channels and the Zoom chat feature.

The discussion featured Charles Stewart, Chief Operating Officer of Metro Transit; Trenise Winters, Assistant Executive Director of Metro Transit; and Jessica Gershman, Assistant Executive Director of Planning and Systems at Metro Transit. The conversation was moderated by Kimberly Cella, Executive Director of Citizens for Modern Transit.
