Metro Transit will make adjustments to more than two dozen MetroBus routes in the City of St. Louis and in St. Louis starting Monday, March 16, as part of the quarterly service change. Following the implementation of a redesigned MetroBus service plan last fall, Metro has been closely monitoring trip data and reviewing feedback from riders and bus operators. This information has been used to update MetroBus routes and schedules to improve on-time performance and transit connections.
There are no changes to MetroLink or Illinois MetroBus routes included in the March 16 quarterly service update.
Details of the Quarterly Service Change Effective March 16:
- #1 Gold – Weekday schedule adjustments; will add two morning trips leaving the Central West End Transit Center at 8:05 a.m. and 9:05 a.m. due to high passenger volumes
- #2 Red – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #5 Green – Weekday schedule adjustment; will add an additional morning trip due to high passenger volumes
- #10 Gravois-Lindell – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #11 Chippewa – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to early morning trips to improve connections to the #21 Watson Road at Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center
- #16 City Limits– Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #17 Mackenzie – Weekday schedule adjustment to one afternoon trip to improve MetroBus connections
- #33 Midland – Weekday schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #46 Tesson Ferry – Weekday schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance and MetroLink/MetroBus connections
- #47 Hanley – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #49 Lindbergh — Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #56 Kirkwood-Webster – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #58 Chesterfield Valley – Route and schedule adjustments; buses will remain on Interstate 64 between the Ballas and Clayton Transit Centers and will no longer exit at Lindbergh and Clayton Roads
- #59 Oakland – Route and schedule adjustments; on west end of route, buses will now travel west on Clayton Road, south on Highland Terrace, east on Ethel and north on Bellevue
- #60 Shepley–Lilac – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #65 Outer Forty – Route and schedule adjustments; route will be extended east to Clayton Transit Center, and buses will serve Missouri Baptist Hospital and stops on Clayton Road east of Ballas Road
- #71 Patterson-Redman – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #73 Carondelet – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #74 Florissant – Weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #76 McDonnell-Waterford – Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #77 Village Square — Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #79 Ferguson — Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #91 Olive — Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance
- #57X Clayton Road – Weekday schedule adjustments to improve MetroLink connections
- #58X Twin Oaks Express – Weekday schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance

- #174X Halls Ferry Express – New service; adding new weekday evening service; and adding new weekend service between North County Transit Center and North Broadway Transit Center
