National Walking Summit-St. Louis hosted by America Walks is scheduled to take place March 10 – 11, 2020 at the Brown School at Washington University.  Attendees from across the country will have an opportunity to hear new ideas, meet other advocates for walking and health, and participate in interactive discussions and programming including two Learning from Place Workshops led by Citizens for Modern Transit.  The workshop is based on the Ten Toe Express® that focuses on connecting transit and walking for a healthy and independent lifestyle.

The National Walking Summit- St. Louis will explore how walking and walkability connects communities to overcome barriers, bridge divides, and address inequities that exist because of the legacies of injustices.
