CMT and Partners Host Toasty Event on Transit to Promote Guaranteed Ride Home

In partnership with St. Clair County Transit District, Metro Transit, the Bureau of Transit Police, and Metro Transit Public Safety, CMT held a “Stay Toasty on Transit” event featuring giveaways at various MetroLink stations including N. Hanley, Shrewsbury, Central West End, 5th and MO, Fairview Heights, and Belleville on Friday, December 8th.

Working with a team of more than 30 volunteers, CMT distributed “Stay Toasty on Transit” themed scarves, candy canes, and information about CMT’s Guaranteed Ride Home program. Transit riders at the Belleville Transit Center got a special treat- the chance to meet and take photos with a live reindeer.

To continue to show our appreciation for transit users in the region and to have a little holiday fun, CMT is giving away one hat signed by St. Louis CITY SC defender, Tim Parker. To enter the giveaway, riders need to take a photo of themselves at a transit stop or on transit wearing holiday-themed clothing (think ugly sweater, “Stay Toasty on Transit” scarf, Santa hat, etc.) and tag CMT in the photo on social media. Please send us a DM as well with your contact information which will be used to contact you if you win. This giveaway is open from December 12th through December 20th when the winner will be selected by a random drawing.
