The Partnership for Downtown St. Louis and the League of Women Voters of St. Louis are sponsoring a City Treasurer Candidate Forum next week, on Thursday, July 26, at 7:00 p.m. This event will take place at the AT&T Auditorium at 801 Chestnut.
The Treasurer’s office plays an important role downtown, since the office’s responsibilities include being head of the City’s banking systems and parking services operation, overseeing the parking meters and the City-owned parking garages. Even if you are not a City resident, the role of the Treasurer affects workers and visitors downtown.
