Celebrate Cella’s 29th Year with CMT with a Contribution to Honor Her Efforts

Kimberly Cella, the executive director of Citizens for Modern Transit, has dedicated her entire career –which spans nearly three decades – to championing, challenging, encouraging, and advocating for public transit access to drive economic growth and help improve the quality of life in St. Louis. Her vision, tenacity and extraordinary leadership has been credited with ensuring that safety and security on transit remains a top priority, securing $10 million in grant funds to establish and maintain programming to increase ridership and spearheading studies to quantify the impact of public transit on communities. She serves as a thought leader on transit-related topics and helps leads the charge on “Transit Stop Transformation Projects,” which have transformed transit stops into active, engaging corridors. She also works closely with partnering organizations to reinforce the collective commitment to a safe, world-class, customer-focused transit experience.

In celebration of her 29th anniversary with the organization, CMT is encouraging individuals, businesses, and organizations to consider making a contribution in the amount of $29, $290 or $2,900.
