The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) is seeking photos for their 12th annual Photo Invitational. APTA wants photos that depict public transportation’s significance, value and benefits of opportunity, access, freedom, and mobility, which enable everyone in the community to accomplish what is important to them, all the while making communities stronger and more vibrant. The deadline for submissions is November 4, 2011. Winning entries will be featured in the 2012 APTA Calendar. This contest is similar to CMT’s Best Transit Pic of the Month Contest we host every month where the winner recieves a free month-long Metro pass. Make sure to submit photos to both us and APTA.
