St. Louis County Library Launches New Media Service Accessible on St. Louis’ Transit System

The St. Louis County Library has launched an exciting free media service available in multiple locations: St. Louis International Lambert Airport, MetroLink and MetroBus locations, St. Louis County government offices, and Schnucks stores.

When at a MetroLink or MetroBus stop, individuals should look for a “Read While You Ride!” sign with a QR Code. Some trains and buses will have the signage inside the vehicle. Upon scanning the QR code, the ePop Up Library gives the user access to thousands of popular digital and audiobooks.

Users do not have to hold a library card to access this service. Materials will be available for seven days after first accessing them. An internet connection is required to browse the collection and download for offline listening or reading.

Now transit users have the ability to sit back and read while they ride.
