Metro Transit provided a recent update on Call-A-Ride Services in St. Louis City and County. In the month of October, Call-A-Ride customers experienced zero ADA Capacity denials according to the agency. In addition, the following project updates were made available:
With the upcoming December Service change, there will be an increase in Call-A-ride service area which parallels the increase in regular fixed-route service to Mercy South Hospital and parts of Fenton. Changes are set to take place on December 2. More information is available at www.metrostlouis.org.
In addition, Metro Transit is working on new reservation software for Call-A-Ride, Spare. New features will include simplifying pick-up details; automatic texts, calls or emails about the trip; and testing with current Call-A-Ride customers.
