The final phase of the project will include the introduction of a new Fare Revenue Collection system. This project aims to offer riders more convenient fare options, including the ability to scan yourself through the security turnstiles with your pass/mobile phone. This system will be integrated with the Secure Platform Gating, simplifying the process of entering MetroLink platforms. Until the new fare system is deployed, Transit Security Team members will continue allowing riders through the gate once fare has been confirmed.
