Metro Transit Announces Quarterly Service Changes Set for June 16

As part of a quarterly service change on Monday, June 16, Metro Transit will make schedule and routing changes to 16 MetroBus routes in Missouri and Illinois. MetroLink service will remain unaffected. This information is subject to change so please check back periodically for updates.

 

Missouri Service Changes:

#8 Shaw-Cherokee: Extending route to serve River City Casino

#11 Chippewa: Adjusting weekday schedules to improve bus-train connections at Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center

#21 Watson Road: Extending route to serve St. Clare Hospital in Fenton

#30 Arsenal: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance

#33 Midland: Restoring schedules to 60-minute service; ending route at Dorsett and Progress Parkway

#34 Earth City: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve bus connections at North Hanley Transit Center

#40 Broadway-Halls Ferry: Adjusting weekday schedules to improve on-time performance

#49 Lindbergh: Extending route to serve Lighthouse for the Blind on select trips; adjusting schedules to improve on-time performance

#58 Chesterfield Valley: Restoring weekday schedules to 60-minute service; improving MetroLink connections; no longer serving St. Louis Premium Outlets after 8 p.m.

#73 Carondelet: Adjusting weekend schedules to improve on-time performance

#76 North Hanley Shuttle: Adjusting weekend schedules to 120-minute service

#79 Ferguson-Clayton: Changing route so bus exits west from North County Transit Center; no longer serving Dunn Road between New Halls Ferry and West Florissant

#98 Ballas-North Hanley: Adjusting weekday schedules to improve on-time performance

 

Illinois Service Changes:

#13 Caseyville: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules; adding trips to serve Tyson Foods

#14 Memorial Hospital: Adjusting schedules to improve on-time performance and MetroLink connections at Memorial Hospital Transit Center

#15 Belleville-Shiloh: Adjusting schedules to improve on-time performance, and changing westbound route to serve St. Clair County Veteran’s Clinic after leaving Memorial Hospital
