- Blue Line customers will not need to transfer to a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station. Only Blue Line customers traveling east of Emerson Park Station will need to transfer to a Red Line train to continue their trip.
- Some MetroLink schedules have minor changes, customers are encouraged to double-check the new schedules to see if times for their MetroLink trip have changed.
- New MetroLink schedules and other details can be found at MetroStLouis.org/ServiceChange.
Single-track operations became necessary in mid-January when an abundance of snow, ice, and persistent cold weather caused ground instability near MetroLink tracks in Illinois. Since then, Blue Line trains have been running between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I44 Transit Center and the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Transit Center. Blue Line riders were temporarily required to transfer to Red Line trains at the Forest Park MetroLink Station and Red Line trains were occasionally delayed.
