Metro Monitor Annual Report Highlights Valuable Information Provided by CMT Volunteers

Over the course of a year, CMT’s team of 20+ Metro Monitor volunteers completed 245 evaluation surveys, covering 29 MetroLink Stations (24 in Missouri and 5 in Illinois) and 6 Metro Transit Centers/Bus Stops in Missouri.

Metro Monitor volunteers provide a snapshot of the system each month, evaluating security presence at stations and on trains/buses, determining if fares are being inspected, gauging levels of customer engagement, and evaluating the condition of transit stops and vehicles. CMT provides survey data to Metro Public Safety monthly and regularly convenes meetings with monitors and Metro Public Safety staff to discuss safety and security issues.
