Mackenzie Menn Joins Citizens for Modern Transit as Program and Social Media Associate

 

Citizens for Modern Transit, the region’s transit advocacy organization, today announced that Mackenzie Menn, of Fairview Heights, Ill., has joined as a program and social media associate. In this capacity, she will be responsible for social media content development, website management, oversight of programming and overall organizational support.

 

Menn brings with her more than two years of marketing and social media experience, most recently serving as a social media coordinator for Faith Family Church in Shiloh, Ill. During her time there, she worked to create social content, respond to direct messages, produce and edit visual content and more. Her background also includes serving as a content writer for Hometown Marketing Group in Collinsville, IIl. Menn received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Digital Media, and a Communication Studies from McKendree University.

 

“We are very excited to welcome Mackenzie to our team,” said Kimberly Cella, executive director of Citizens for Modern Transit. “Her background and experience will play a key role as we work to raise awareness about our going efforts to champion, challenge, encourage and advocate for public transit in an effort to drive economic growth and improve the quality of life in the St. Louis region.”
