As the Battlehawks head into the playoffs, Citizens for Modern Transit and St. Louis’ own professional wide receiver Darrius Shepherd are reminding football fans that transit is the “winning way” to get to game day and a “touchdown” for the work commute. CMT is also looking to name four #TransitMVPs (Most Valuable Passengers) at the end of post-season play. Each of these individuals will be presented with free transit passes and a football autographed by Shepherd.
To be considered, transit riders simply need to take a photo of themselves using MetroLink or MetroBus to get where they need to go and post it to Facebook, Instagram or X using #TransitMVPs and tagging Citizens for Modern Transit (@CMT-STL). Individuals are also encouraged to add details about why they choose to take transit. All who post between now and the official end of the 2024 Battlehawks season will be added to a drawing. Four #TransitMVPs will be named by the end of June.
