For this Holiday Walk, we will meet at the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center at 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 12. When you arrive, look for Karen (CMT Staff) and Charlene (AARP Volunteer) near the ticket vending machines. 

We will board MetroLink at 9:28 AM. We will arrive at the Belleville Transit Center at approximately 10:40 AM. From there, we will walk to downtown Belleville where we can admire the Gingerbread displays along Main Street before visiting the Christkindlmarket at the intersection of Main Street and IL Route 159. The group will have time to wander the market and shop before heading to lunch at a nearby restaurant. Depending on the size of the group, we may need to break into two groups and go to two different restaurants. 

Following lunch, we will proceed back to the Belleville Transit Center to board MetroLink and return to Shrewsbury. Walk Distance: Approx. 3 miles. Please bring lunch money and a bag to carry any of your purchases back in.
