Led by a guest walk leader from See STL, the Missouri History Museum’s tour program, join us for an informative walk around the Soulard Neighborhood. Mitch Goist, our tour guide, is currently rehabbing a historic brick home in St. Louis and has plenty of information to share about the history of brickmaking in St. Louis, important figures who made up the industry, and how bricks impacted the region as a whole. You will have the chance to learn about the rich history of the neighborhood and brickmaking at large.

For this walk, we will start with a ride from the Shrewsbury MetroLink Station to Civic Center. From there it is a 10-minute bus ride on MetroBus #73 to meet Mitch in Soulard. After the tour, walkers will be taken back to the Civic Center MetroLink Station for a ride back to Shrewsbury Station.
