CITIZENS FOR MODERN TRANSIT WELCOMES BLAINE AS SUMMER INTERN

Citizens for Modern Transit (CMT), is pleased to welcome Audrey Blaine of Kirkwood as an intern for summer 2025. During her time with the regional transit advocacy organization, Blaine will gain hands-on experience in the transit industry, supporting office operations, assisting with programming, and representing CMT at various community and organization-sponsored events. Blaine is a junior at Belmont University, working toward a bachelor’s degree in English. She is in the Belmont Global Honors program and spent a semester abroad in Belfast, Ireland. In addition to her academic pursuits, she works at the Lila D. Bunch Library, serves as the treasure of the Belmont Sustainable Fashion Initiative, and volunteers with the Red Cross, running blood drives as part of the Leaders Save Lives program.

Blaine is a St. Louis native and not new to the St. Louis transit system, having rode the MetroLink since she was a small child with her family.

“We look forward to having Audrey on our team to help us not only with programming but with building our critical research resources,” said Kim Cella, executive director of CMT.
