Travis Wood Bio

Travis Wood serves as the Senior Program Director for Citizens for Modern Transit. In his role he is responsible for enhancing community engagement, cultivating membership and programming opportunities, and working with the executive board to further CMT’s vision and goals. Travis also focuses on identifying grant funding opportunities and furthering the organization’s mission to ensure access to a safe, affordable and convenient public transportation system that helps drive economic growth and improves the quality of life in the bi-state area. Wood received a Master of Public Policy & Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
