Citizens for Modern Transit’s upcoming “Talking Transit” event, sponsored in part by the St. Louis Regional Chamber and East-West Gateway Council of Governments, will provide a forum for discussion on these recommendations. Lurae Stuart, project manager of the New-York based consulting firm WSP USA, Inc., who led the assessment, will provide a brief overview of the MetroLink Security Assessment recommendations, before a panel of local stakeholders weigh in on the results and next steps for the St. Louis region. Panelists will include Jim Wild, executive director of East-West Gateway Council of Governments; Taulby Roach, president and CEO of Bi-State Development; Kathy Osborn, President and CEO of the Regional Business Council, and June McAllister Fowler, Citizens for Modern Transit Board Chair.
