The Sunnen Station and Deer Creek Greenway location definitely has a lot of great nature, culture, and history. It’s a popular walking tour with Great Rivers Greenway.  Join us for the Fall 2021 Special Kickoff walk with special guest walking guide Elizabeth Simons, Community Program Manager with Great River Greenway.

From the Sunnen Station to Lorraine Davis Park and back, the total walking distance will be 3.7 miles with several stops along the way to point out unique features including the streambank restoration, native habitat restoration, confluence of the Deer and Shady Creeks, and the North Webster historic African-American community. There is a restroom in Deer Creek Park along the way. If walkers are interested in eating together afterwards, there is a McAlister's across the street.
