Michael Foley currently serves as the Assistant Director of Citizens for Modern Transit. Foley has more than 25 years’ experience in nonprofit management, government relations and public advocacy. He has been with the agency since April 2021. In his current role he is responsible for the management of programming, community engagement and membership. Michael also focuses time on securing grant funding, serving as a legislative liaison and furthering the organization’s mission to ensure access to a safe, affordable, and convenient public transportation system that helps drive economic growth. Foley has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Saint Louis University and a Master of Science in Public Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
