Metro Transit has announced their next Community Connect event will take place on Wednesday, August 6, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Paraquad, located at 5240 Oakland Avenue. Community Connect events are scheduled periodically throughout the year and allow transit riders and the public to meet Metro Transit staff to ask questions, learn about new projects and services, and share feedback with Metro.
On August 6, updates will include Metro’s progress on the Secure Platform Plan (SPP), an opportunity to test new wayfinding technology, and share feedback on new bus shelter options. If an ASL interpreter is needed, Metro requests you contact ADA Services at 314-982-1495 three days before the event.
Paraquad is accessible via the Central West End MetroLink Station (walking/biking approximately 1 mile) or via MetroBus Route #59 on Oakland or MetroBus Route #90 on Hampton (walking/biking approximately .75 mile).
