Curious about planning your own transit travel? Do you have an unexpired Red Gateway Card? Do you need to renew or apply for a Senior or Disability Based Reduced Fare Permit Card? Join CMT staff for a trip to the North County Transit Center. Metro Transit will provide a training on new fare options, how to plan your own transit travel, and help participants get set up with a Ride On Card.  

Ride On Cards are part of Metro Transit's new fare collection system. If you are eligible for Reduced Fare or the On The Way with ADA Program, your Ride On Card will be personalized with your photo and eligibility information.

Please meet CMT staff at the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center near the ticket vending machines on September 8 at 8:15 AM. We'll board MetroBus #16 at 8:40 for our journey to the N. County Transit Center which will include a transfer to a second bus. Participants who do not wish to meet at Shrewsbury may meet the group elsewhere. While typically we do not advocate for driving to the destination, parking is available at the N. County Transit Center for those who may wish to carpool separately.
