Join CMT’s Ten Toes + Transit kickoff walk on April 2 to celebrate the recently renovated home of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Powell Hall at the Jack C. Taylor Music Center. This behind-the-scenes tour will allow attendees a close-up view of the $140 million renovation project that was completed in the fall of 2025. Symphony and architecture fans alike will appreciate the unique details including new rehearsal space, a spiral staircase, and dramatic tapestries.
Please meet CMT staff at the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center near the ticket vending machines on April 2 at 7:45 AM. We'll board the east bound Blue Line MetroLink at 8:08 for a ride to Grand Station. From there, we'll walk approximately .75 miles to our destination: Powell Hall.
This walk is capped at 25 participants. Attendees must pay their $10 tour fee in advance via Powell Hall's website here: Private Powell Hall Tour | St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
