Join us on August 28 for the Ten Toes + Transit kickoff walk which will include a National Park Service-led tour of the recently reopened Old Courthouse in downtown St. Louis. After closing in 2020 for renovations, the Old Courthouse has reopened to great acclaim featuring new exhibits, updated structural elements, and improved accessibility. Join the Ten Toes + Transit kickoff walk for your chance to view the courthouse that saw many historical cases in American history argued, including Dred and Harriett Scott, Virginia Minor, and hundreds of freedom suits.
Please meet CMT staff at the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center near the ticket vending machines on August 28 at 8:45 AM. We'll board the east bound Blue Line MetroLink at 9:08 for a ride downtown. From there, we'll walk approximately .5 miles to our destination: the Old Courthouse.
This walk is capped at 25 participants.
