Led by a special guest walk leader from Great Rivers Greenway, join in for a walk along the Brickline Greenway with a stop at the “Pillars of the Valley” art installation outside of CITYPARK in the Downtown West neighborhood. The memorial is a tribute to the former Mill Creek Valley neighborhood that was demolished in the 1950s. You will have the chance to learn about the rich history of the neighborhoods and the symbolism of the sculptures. For this walk, we will start with a ride from the Shrewsbury MetroLink Station to Union Station. From there it is a 10-minute walk to the sculptures.  After the tour, walkers will be taken back to the MetroLink for a ride back to Shrewsbury Station.
