Citizens for Modern Transit (CMT) has earned national recognition with a 2025–2026 Adsposure Transit Award for its “The LOU Rides METRO … Will You?” campaign in the Biggest Impact category. The annual Adsposure Transit Awards celebrate excellence in public transit advertising across the country, recognizing campaigns that demonstrate creativity, strong messaging and meaningful community impact. Winners are selected through a public voting process, which drew a record 22,030 votes across 12 markets nationwide this year.
CMT teamed up with Metro Transit, St. Clair County Transit District and St. Louis’ own professional hockey team mascot, Louie, to promote the benefits of public transit and how MetroLink and MetroBus can get you to gameday, work or play. As part of the advertising effort, individuals could go to www.CommuteLikeAChamp.com to sign up to receive a free Metro Adventure Day Pass (valued at $5) so they could give transit a try during the St. Louis Blues 2025-2026 season. During that timeframe, Louie-themed ads promoted public transit via billboards, community boards, transit ads, social media, mailers, community events and during select hockey games.
