Don’t forget Transportation Day at the Capitol is this coming Wednesday, February 1, 2012. CMT will be joining organizations from across the state in Jefferson City to let legislators know that transit is a top priority for CMT, the region, and the state. Join us!
We are asking CMT members and friends to join us for this day of legislative visits. CMT scheduled targeted visits with legislators (Legislator Meeting List).
The agenda for the day will include legislative visits in the morning before they go into session and then a thank you lunch for volunteers at the Capitol.
Transportation Day 2012 Agenda
8 a.m. – Gather in the Capitol Rotunda for instructions
8 – 10:30 – Meetings with Legislators
10:30 – 11:30 – Hearings
12 noon – Lunch – House alcove on the third floor. Look for the MPTA banner.
Afternoon – Meetings with Legislators, as possible
The event is free to attend, however, transportation is on your own. Please RSVP to info@cmt-stl.org if you would like to join us. Please include your mailing address and your representatives names in the email if you know them.
