MetroLink is an option for residents and commuters in the Forest Park area during construction and closure of Forest Park Parkway. The project to raise Forest Park Parkway even with Kingshighway is now underway. Construction has begun on the project that many hope will help the flow of traffic in the area, as well as create a safer walking environment for pedestrians.
One alternative to finding another route during the road closure is to ride the MetroLink. The MetroLink travels through this area with stops at Skinker, Forest Park- DeBaliviere and the Central West End. Give transit a try during construction and sit back and relax.
