Engagement meetings set for Metro's proposed restoration plan
4/16/10
Prior to any major service change, Metro provides the public with
the opportunity to comment on the proposed changes during the planning
stage. Metro will provide information about the 2010 service restoration
plan on the Agency's website and at a series of informational meetings
in April and May. These meetings will provide an opportunity for input
on the social, environmental, and economic impact of the proposed
changes.
The public may also comment by writing to: Maureen Williams, Metro,
Planning and System Development - Restoration 2010 Proposal, 707 North
First Street - Mail Stop 144, St. Louis, Missouri 63102-2595; by email
at restoration2010@metrostlouis.org;
or by calling and recording a comment at 314-982-1400, ext. 3433.
The meetings are an open-house format with a 20-minute presentation
of the service restoration proposal at the beginning of each meeting.
Metro will require that all comments are due by close of business,
Monday, May 10, 2010 to ensure they are incorporated in the planning
process.
