MetroBus Service Update on 8/14, Service Resumes to new Civic Center Transit Center

The newly updated Civic Center Transit Center will open to the public just in time for Metro’s Quarterly MetroBus service change that goes into effect on Monday, August 14.

The MetroBus service update on August 14 will modify the operations of 33 MetroBus routes in the St. Louis metropolitan area, including moving all MetroBus routes currently serving 18th Street & Clark Avenue near Union Station back to the Civic Center Transit Center at 14th and Spruce Streets.

The new Civic Center Transit Center includes many new amenities for transit riders, including an indoor waiting area with a concessions area and public restrooms.

Among the service changes, four existing MetroBus routes will be split into eight new routes to provide passengers with better reliability and quicker, more direct service.

Details of changes and routes impacted are listed below. New schedules and maps for all MetroBus routes impacted by the service change are available at metrostlouis.org.
