CMT elects new member to Board of Directors

marylamieThe Citizens for Modern Transit (CMT) Board of Directors unanimously elected Mary Lamie, EFK Moen, to a three year term on the board at the January 23 CMT Board Meeting.

Ms. Lamie is responsible for project management and business development for EFK Moen, LLC in Illinois. Her engineering and project management experience includes a wide variety of transportation projects that require extensive coordination with local, state and national leaders.  Ms. Lamie has over 22 years of experience with the IL Department of Transportation (IDOT), with the last 7 years acting as Deputy Director of Highways Region Five Engineer where she was responsible for the development and implementation of the Region’s transportation program which includes engineering, management and budgetary responsibilities. She has also served as the District 8 Engineer, District 8 Program Development Engineer, District 8 Studies and Plans Engineer and the District 8 Geotechnical Engineer.

“CMT is very lucky to have the addition of Mary to the Board of Directors. Her more than 22 years experience at IDOT and her engineering and project management experience  will be an asset to the organization as we move forward. I look forward to working with her to move transit forward in the St. Louis region,” said Kim Cella, CMT Executive Director.
