Eventhough that I missed the TOD seminar but lots of my friends at work thinks that TOD is a really cool. I even went on a TOD tour in Dallas in 1999. When I sometimes go to Starbucks, I as a service volunteer "toss" myself into service and tell them the bus routes that serves that location. I have learned that TOD is so hot that just about every city is using it. In Dallas each year, they host the Great American Trucking Show". It in a way shows off new machines used in the TOD field. It's at the Dallas Convention Center. I am going to try to go there this year.
The neat thing about TOD is that if you want to work in that field or to just go along for the "ride", you can get some videos at Longroadpro.com. (Long Road Productions) I am going to contact Lindsey Crawford and have him put together a video on operating excavators, and dump trucks.
